TIP05 - I Am Where I Am
In tip #04 we talked about trending towards relief, and we used an example of a journey from Dallas, Texas, to New York City. The emotional challenge is that for the ENTIRE journey, you will NOT be where you want to be! Memphis may be 1/3rd of the way there, and relatively speaking "great progress," but unless you are in a self-accepting (or better yet, a positively expectant) state of being, your frustration can turn you vibrationally around and headed back towards where you came from. That is what we want to help you avoid.
Think of it this way: If you've ever travelled with kids (or adults that behave like them... <smile>), you know how incredibly annoying it is to be asked over and over again, "Are we there yet??? When are we going to get there??? Why is it taking so long???" Most drivers find such questions intrusive and unhelpful.
Yet, when it comes to our health (physical and emotional), such questions seem... normal... like we're supposed to ask them every five minutes. Our pain keeps flaring up, demanding attention. We take diagnostic tests over and over again to see where we stand. We desperately want to know when we'll feel good again. And we get frustrated, angry, pessimistic, and even depressed that it is taking SO LONG. And if we're sick, people are always asking, "Are you feeling any better?" Frankly, it is sometimes hard to say yes to that question even if we are taking small steps towards relief.
In vibrational medicine, when we focus our energy in a way that negatively impacts our feelings, we are moving AWAY from well-being. Unfortunately, a state of stress about how things are right now gets you more of how things are right now... it's the Law of Attraction at work.
Our pain relief tip:
Decide to stop pushing against where you are right now... make your self-statement "I am where I am... I'm okay... and I choose to keep focused on RELIEF." As soon as you can get to a place where you are moving towards self-acceptance, even just a baby step in that direction, you'll notice that the energy of your body is starting to move faster and easier toward where you want to go.
Some of you will absolutely need to do EFT tapping rounds on aspects like: "I don't want to be here! You don't understand! I don't want to be here!!!" We say, "Go for it!"
Say and tap: "I don't want to be here, but I am where I am, but I don't want to be here." Argue a little bit with yourself, even go back and forth with the alternating yes/no EFT technique, tapping the points as you take both sides of how you feel: "I'm OK, I'm not OK. I am OK, I'm not OK. I don't accept where I am, Yes I do, NO! I don't! YES, I DO!"
An important part of the reactivation of your healing energy is to let go of the tug of war that's going on inside. This is another place where EFT is a huge help.
